Plastic (polyethylene) Pits are designed for use in a range of electrical and telecommunications applications. They are robust, cost-effective and versatile. Plastic pits are extremely lightweight, providing on-site manual handling solutions for a health and safety conscious design. Plastic pits can support either a Class A and B load rated cover.

Concrete Pits are designed for use in electrical and telecommunications applications. Concrete Jointing Pits, single or multi part, are for use in jointing of underground electrical cables (HV/LV), communication jointing or fibre optics. UCS also offer a range of SCEC endorsed security lids, pits and accessories.

Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) Pits combine the high strength of glass fibre with the rigidity of cement mortar to give a tough, rigid material that has a superior strength to weight ratio. GRC pits are easy to work with and can be used in a wide range of projects.
